Job summary

Start Network in London is seeking a Network and Funds Coordinator to provide trusted, high‑quality support to the Director of Network and Funds, helping to keep a busy, strategic portfolio moving forward with discretion and initiative.

You will coordinate priorities, meetings and communications, build strong relationships, and ensure actions stay on track, contributing to a smoothly run Directorate and meaningful humanitarian impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Network and Funds Coordinator plays a key role within Start Network's Network and Funds Directorate, providing trusted, high-quality support to the Director of Network and Funds and helping to keep a busy, strategic portfolio of work moving forward. From coordinating priorities, meetings and communications to building strong relationships and keeping actions on track, the role brings organisation, momentum and attention to detail to the Director's day-to-day work. Working with discretion, initiative and professionalism, the Coordinator will create the structure and connections that enable the Director to focus on strategic priorities and delivering impact. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys making things happen, anticipating what is needed and contributing to the smooth and effective running of a dynamic Directorate.

WHAT IS START NETWORK?

Our purpose is to be a catalyst for system-level change that improves the efficiency, effectiveness and ethics of humanitarian action. We do this by working as a network to develop, test & spread new ways of collaborating and resourcing locally-led crisis response and anticipation.

Our current membership is made up of nearly 145 local, national and international NGOs based all around the world. We also support 10 national and regional hubs made up of civil society organisations and NGOs as our vehicle for devolving power, resources and accountability.
