Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Sustainability Consultant in London to help embed sustainability into development design. You will work with clients and project teams on whole life carbon, circular economy, BREEAM and related planning submissions.

You will undertake carbon modelling, develop circular economy strategies, and manage BREEAM assessments, while communicating complex data to diverse audiences and supporting project teams across Greengage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a role with similar sustainability responsibilities.
• Experience delivering projects involving building sustainability design and carbon assessment.
• Able to undertake whole life carbon assessments and interpret results.
• Understanding of circular economy principles and their application across project types.
• Experience producing BREEAM pre-assessments and managing certification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake whole life carbon modelling and appraisals to inform design optioneering.
• Develop circular economy strategies across projects.
• Produce whole life carbon assessments, circular economy statements and other planning submissions.
• Manage BREEAM assessments.
• Monitor project progress and report to line managers.
• Provide technical input and practical solutions to sustainability challenges.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to obtain information and keep teams updated.
• Contribute to wider project teams and the sustainability team.
• Communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
