Exciting opportunity for a .Net Software Engineer to join this global Energy Trading Company.

This transformation includes the establishment of a highly successful new Power Trading desk within the Energy Trading team and ventures into cutting-edge solutions that address the evolving demands of the Energy sector. These initiatives include advanced Gas infrastructure, LNG technology, effective Energy Storage systems and Green Energy solutions. These innovations create opportunities for exceptionally talented individuals to contribute to the success of this evolution, working alongside some of the industry’s top professionals and leveraging the very latest technology.

Skills & Requirements:

• 10+ Years relevant software development experience broadly ranging from front-end, back-end, cloud automation and orchestration with depth in one or both of front-end and back-end development.
• Domain experience in Energy Trading

Technical Experience Required:

• Proficient in .NET Core 6+ with Azure Services
• Proficient in SQL Databases, No SQL, Cloud Datastores
• Azure Functions and Durables functions with exposure to Azure Service Bus or Confluent Kafka.
• Hands-on development & deployment using App Services & Azure SQL Database
• Proficient in Cloud Deployment with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions into serverless containers (Kubernetes, Docker)

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

• Solution consultation and development in accordance with the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices
• Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests and documentation
• Contribution to functional excellence in terms of definition and maintenance of standards, methods and tools, bringing in best practices from market standard implementations
• Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premises solutions, cloud and legacy systems

You need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker, and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
