Job Description

Nestle Purina Warehouse distributes pet food across the UK. Responsibilities include picking and packing duties, potential forklift work, packing orders for stores, and creating promotional materials.

Details: 37.5 hours per week, with three shift options:

  • Shift 1: Any 5 out of 7 days, rotating 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00
  • Shift 2: Weekend Thursday-Monday, rotating 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities

Responsible for receipt of inbound loads, order picking, preparing loads for dispatch, and vehicle loading using MHE, all performed safely and accurately. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous warehouse experience (desired but not essential)
  • Manual handling experience
  • Understanding of Quality and Health & Safety standards
  • Ability to work independently
  • MHE Licences are advantageous but not mandatory, full training provided
Salary & Benefits

Salary based on 37.5 hours/week, physically on-site for 40 hours. Salary: £27,364.48 + shift allowance (dependent on hours).

Shift Premiums:

  • Rotating Week: £1,709.50
  • Weekend: £2,470
  • Nights: £5,831.80
