Job summary

Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust NICU is seeking experienced registered neonatal nurses to join our Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse team on the Neonatal Unit. The post holders will be welcomed into a substantial and supportive Neonatal team.

We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic Neonatal Nurses who can provide clinical expertise in the delivery of specialist care to neonates and their families.

Qualifications

• Registered neonatal nurse with experience in a level 3 Neonatal Unit.
• Demonstrated leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to coordinate care, mentor staff and support learning.
• Engage in audits, benchmarking and service development.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate daily neonatal care and deputise for the Junior Sister when required.
• Lead and support the neonatal team to deliver high quality care.
• Participate in audits, benchmarking and staff development activities.
