University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Neonatal Educator to join our multidisciplinary neonatal service. The post focuses on providing clinical expertise, leading education, and supporting QIS trainees across wards and placements.
You will work with the Neonatal team to develop teaching, supervise practice, and drive education quality through audits and evidence-based practice, contributing to excellent patient care and ongoing professional development.
Due to investment in our education team we are looking for a high profile, accessible and responsive educator. A clinical expert, working as a member of the multi-professional team, providing and developing specialist services and advice who is able to make informed decisions within their own speciality and scope of professional practice to ensure agreed standards and objectives are met.
The post holder will be expected to provide clinical expertise and knowledge, demonstrating a sound understanding of the issues related to identification, assessment, treatment and management of the Neonate and the Neonatal service. The post holder will focus on supporting the Neonatal QIS nurses / Midwives in training. They will monitor and improve standards of education through clinical audit, evidence base practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues and the provision of skilled professional leadership.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
