NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Educator for the Neonatal Unit at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. The role is 36 hours per week, permanent, and focuses on developing others, supporting excellence in neonatal care, and shaping the future workforce.

You will lead induction, preceptorship, competency assessment, simulation training, and ongoing professional development, while maintaining clinical practice and aligning with national neonatal standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Child, Adult or Midwifery as appropriate).
• Qualified in Specialty (QIS) Neonatal Nurse.
• Experience in neonatal intensive, high dependency and special care nursing.
• Passionate about education, professional development and workforce improvement.
• Excellent communicators with strong organisational and leadership skills.
