Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) seeks an experienced Neonatal Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Qualified) to join its Level 2/3 NICU team in Nottingham. The post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with day/night and weekend shifts, and a salary around £57,528‑£64,750 per annum.

The ACP will assess, diagnose and manage complex neonatal conditions, work autonomously with consultant support, and contribute to education, governance and service development within NUH.

Qualifications

• Registered ACP with UK NMC registration.
• BSc in Neonatal Studies or degree.
• ENB 405 or equivalent neonatal qualification with degree level learning.
• Master's in Advanced Clinical Nursing Practice (Neonatal).
• Teaching or Mentorship qualification.
• NLS Provider.
• Registered independent non-medical prescribing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Work within Level 2/3 NICUs providing advanced neonatal care.
• Assess, diagnose and manage complex neonatal conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development.
• Lead nursing development and education initiatives.
