Neighbourhood Manager

The role

Our client is seeking a Neighbourhood Manager to provide on-the-ground support across their housing portfolio. This mobile role focuses on estate inspections, fire safety checks, tenancy engagement and ensuring safe, well-maintained environments for residents. You will work autonomously across multiple sites with occasional office attendance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular estate inspections, reporting repairs, cleanliness issues and tenancy breaches
  • Carry out and support actions relating to Fire Risk Assessments (FRA)
  • Make non-access and no-contact calls to engage residents and ensure tenancy compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, calls and follow-up actions in internal systems
  • Support overall neighbourhood safety and service delivery across the region
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload
  • Knowledge of housing management and basic fire safety principles
  • Experience in customer-facing or resident-focused roles
  • Previous experience as a Housing Officer or Neighbourhood Manager (desirable)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safe, clean estates
