Job summary

A2Dominion seeks a Neighbourhood Manager to deliver a customer-led neighbourhood management service across residential and mixed-tenure buildings, meeting landlord obligations and regulatory requirements.

You will build strong relationships with residents, handle building safety and tenancy issues, and provide high-quality service with proactive problem solving.

This hybrid Oxford-based role requires a Full Clean UK driving license, good IT skills (Excel) and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C).
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse residents.
• IT skills including Excel and ability to collate and analyse data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular estate, scheme and property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness and appearance, with records of actions taken.
• Ensure buildings and building systems comply with statutory obligations and fire safety requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors on maintenance to ensure building safety.
• Engage with residents regarding upkeep and building safety measures.
• Encourage residents towards good housekeeping and fire safety practices.
• Develop and update the building resident engagement strategy in compliance with regulation.
• Oversee a portfolio of general needs and mixed-tenure buildings as Estate Lead.

Role Overview

Are you ready to make a real impact in the heart of vibrant communities? As a Neighbourhood Manager at A2Dominion, no two days will ever be the same. You'll be the face of the organisation, helping to shape thriving communities by providing the support, care and attention our residents need.

You will deliver an excellent, customer-led neighbourhood management service across a portfolio of residential and mixed-tenure buildings, ensuring landlord obligations are met in line with regulatory requirements. Through high-quality tenancy and building management, you'll build strong relationships with residents and provide outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular estate, scheme and property inspections to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and appearance, ensuring accurate records are maintained and appropriate actions are taken to address any issues identified.
• Ensure buildings and building systems are maintained in accordance with Statutory obligations and Fire Safety requirements
• Work in partnership with internal departments and external contractors on maintenance activities that will ensure building safety is not compromised
• Actively engage with residents regarding upkeep and maintenance of building safety measures in the property.
• Encourage, support and, where appropriate enforce residents and members of their home towards good housekeeping and fire safety practices
• Work collaboratively to develop, implement, and update the building resident engagement strategy in compliance with regulation.
• The role of Neighbourhood Officer has overall responsibility for a portfolio of general needs and mixed tenure buildings where they are the Estate Lead.

More about you

• Full Clean UK driving license and own transport
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
• Minimum of 1 year experience or a commitment to train on building construction and safety issues, particularly fire safety
• 1 year related experience or commitment to train on managing building
• Experience of managing ASB cases in line with regulatory standards
• Proven experience of problem solving for residents and understanding their needs, including vulnerable people and community groups or in other related areas experience of delivering service to diverse customers
• IT skills including excel and ability to collate and analyse data and present them in reports
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, including translating complex process and requirements to our vulnerable customers

Desirable

• Professional membership/qualification (CIH or CMI)
• Experience of housing law and housing management issues, welfare benefits and financial inclusion
• 1 year experience in Safeguarding and Wellbeing of people, advising, coaching, and influencing safeguarding at all levels including compliance with legislation, regulation, and best practices
