AtkinsRéalis in Glasgow seeks a Commercial Manager to lead commercial delivery on complex infrastructure projects under NEC4 contracts. You will oversee cost control, forecasting, risk management and contract compliance, acting as a trusted adviser to Project Managers and Directors.

The role spans multiple commissions, requiring robust governance, audit trails and collaboration with clients and supply chain partners to protect commercial outcomes and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Commercial Manager on major programmes and complex infrastructure.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; professional recognition (RICS) preferred.
• Membership or progression towards RICS.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of NEC4 contracts across projects and ensure proper application of processes.
• Administer contractual mechanisms including Early Warnings, Compensation Events and change control.
• Provide commercial advice to Project Managers on risk, compliance and strategy.
• Maintain audit trails for contract compliance and procedures.
• Establish robust financial controls across a live portfolio and produce monthly reports.
• Support period-end processes including accruals and revenue reconciliation.
• Embed commercial governance and support negotiations with clients and supply chain partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and templates.
