Job summary

Pathfinder International seeks an experienced NEC4 Supervisor (Build) for an urgent, on-site role in Christchurch, Dorset. You will ensure construction activities meet contractual and technical standards under NEC4 ECC, performing regular inspections, audits and defects management.

The role requires UK nationality, security clearance (SC preferred), and a background in engineering/construction with NEC4 or NEC3 contracts, plus substantial site experience on major projects.

Qualifications

• Sole UK nationality (birth in the UK)
• Current security clearance - SC preferred, BPSS minimum
• Degree or equivalent in Engineering/Construction/PM
• NEC4 ECC Supervisor accreditation or demonstrable NEC4 experience
• 5+ years in construction, infra, engineering or industrial projects
• Experience administering NEC3/NEC4 contracts
• Strong site inspection, QA and defects management
• CSCS/SMSTS/SSSTS where applicable
• Full driving license

Responsibilities

• Regular site inspections and audits.
• Witnessing inspections, tests, hold points and commissioning activities.
• Monitor workmanship against drawings, specs and standards.
• Identify and manage defects; review contractor QA docs.
• Maintain auditable records; support Project Manager with contract administration.
• Collaborate with contractors, designers and project teams; ensure safety compliance.
