Job summary

WSP is seeking an NEC Project Manager to lead highways and infrastructure projects in Gloucestershire. You will manage NEC contract obligations, lead on-site Supervisors and Quantity Surveyors, and ensure work aligns with the contract and works scope.

The role focuses on early warnings, compensation events, cost control, and collaboration with GCC and contractors to deliver on time and within budget, while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the Highways/Infrastructure sector with NEC contract management background.
• Experience delivering NEC contracts, including early warnings and compensation events.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CDM is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead NEC contract administration and project management processes per NEC4.
• Issuing instructions, managing early warnings, and maintaining records.
• Prioritise client satisfaction through GCC and contractor collaboration.
• Manage resources, including remote teams, to meet workloads.
• Deliver compliant designs on time and within budget with HSE & QA compliance.
• Produce robust project control reports and programme management.
• Forecast and manage commercial position including cost control.
• Ensure invoicing aligns with the NEC contract.
