Job summary

Oceaneering seeks an NDT Technician with Eddy Current & RA L3 for an immediate ad hoc assignment. The role requires IRATA Level 3 with PCN Level 2 Visual Testing, offshore certification/medicals, and availability around August 5 for mobilization. You will perform rope access inspections and report findings on offshore/onshore assets.

Candidates must maintain competencies and comply with HSE and permit-to-work systems while supporting the inspection team to deliver results on schedule.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Immediately Available Candidates Required who also possess the RTW in the UK
• We are currently seeking Rope Access Level 2 and Level 3 Technicians with PCN Level 2 Eddy Current & VT certification for an upcoming Ad Hoc temporary workscope.
• Role: Rope Access L3 with PCN Level 2 Eddy Current & VT
• Scope: Ad Hoc / Temporary Workscope
• Start: Immediate availability required

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections in accordance with approved procedures, client specifications, and industry standards.
• Carry out rope access activities safely and efficiently in line with IRATA guidelines.
• Inspect, assess, and report on the condition of offshore/onshore assets and structures.
• Accurately record inspection findings and support the preparation of inspection reports.
• Ensure all inspection equipment is maintained, calibrated, and fit for purpose.
• Adhere to all site-specific HSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in pre-job briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Work collaboratively with the inspection and operations teams to deliver the workscope safely and on schedule.
• Identify and report any defects, anomalies, or safety concerns to supervisors and client representatives.
• Maintain valid certification, training, and competency requirements throughout the assignment.
• Support additional NDT and inspection activities within competency levels as required by the project.

Qualifications

Requirements:

✅ Valid IRATA Level 3 or Level 3 certification
✅ PCN Level 2 Visual Testing qualification (essential)
✅ Offshore certification and medicals valid and in date (if applicable)
✅ Available to mobilise on 5th August
✅ Ability to commit to length of scope
