Job summary

Oceaneering International Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking NDT Technicians at RA 2 or RA 3 on an ad hoc temporary scope. The role requires IRATA rope access, PCN Level 2 Eddy Current certification, and immediate availability for a 3-week assignment.

You will perform Eddy Current inspections offshore and onshore, follow approved procedures and IRATA guidelines, maintain equipment, and report findings while adhering to HSE and permit-to-work systems. Mobilisation by 6th August is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid IRATA Level 2 or 3 certification.
• PCN Level 2 Eddy Current qualification.
• Offshore certification and medicals valid and in date.

Responsibilities

• Perform eddy current inspections in accordance with approved procedures and client specifications.
• Carry out rope access activities safely and in line with IRATA guidelines.
• Inspect, assess and report on offshore/onshore assets and structures.
• Accurately record inspection findings and support inspection reports.
• Ensure inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Adhere to HSE policies, permits-to-work and site procedures.
• Participate in pre-job briefings, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with inspection and operations teams to deliver on schedule.
• Identify and report defects or safety concerns to supervisors and client reps.
• Maintain certifications and training throughout the assignment.

• Immediately Available Candidates Required who also possess the RTW in the UK
• We are currently seeking Rope Access Level 2 and Level 3 Technicians with PCN Level 2 Eddy Current certification for an upcoming Ad Hoc temporary workscope.
• Role: Rope Access L2/L3 with PCN Level 2 Eddy Current
• Duration: 3 Weeks
• Scope: Ad Hoc / Temporary Workscope
• Start: Immediate availability required

Responsibilities

• Perform eddy current inspections in accordance with approved procedures, client specifications, and industry standards.
• Carry out rope access activities safely and efficiently in line with IRATA guidelines.
• Inspect, assess, and report on the condition of offshore/onshore assets and structures.
• Accurately record inspection findings and support the preparation of inspection reports.
• Ensure all inspection equipment is maintained, calibrated, and fit for purpose.
• Adhere to all site-specific HSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
• Participate in pre-job briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Work collaboratively with the inspection and operations teams to deliver the workscope safely and on schedule.
• Identify and report any defects, anomalies, or safety concerns to supervisors and client representatives.
• Maintain valid certification, training, and competency requirements throughout the assignment.
• Support additional NDT and inspection activities within competency levels as required by the project.

Qualifications

Offshore certification and medicals valid and in date (if applicable)
Available to mobilise on 6th August
Ability to commit to the full 3-week scope
