Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking immediately available Rope Access Level 3 Technicians for an ad-hoc temporary workscope based out of Aberdeen, Scotland. You will perform visual inspections on onshore and offshore assets in strict alignment with IRATA rope access guidelines and site safety rules.

Role requires IRATA Level 3, PCN VT Level 2 qualifications, offshore certifications and medicals if applicable, and immediate mobilization by August 5th for the full duration of the scope.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• IRATA Level 3 rope access certification.
• Offshore certifications and medicals (if applicable).
• Immediate availability to mobilize on August 5th and commit to full duration.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections on structures and assets according to approved procedures and client specs.
• Execute rope access operations safely in accordance with IRATA guidelines.
• Inspect, evaluate, and report the condition of assets, noting anomalies and defects.
• Verify calibration and suitability of inspection devices and testing equipment.
• Adhere to HSE policies, permits-to-work, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with project leads and client representatives to maintain inspection progress.

The role involves executing visual testing on onshore and offshore assets while adhering strictly to IRATA rope access guidelines and site safety rules.

Responsibilities:-

• Perform visual inspections on structures and assets according to approved procedures, client specifications, and industry standards.
• Execute rope access operations safely and efficiently in alignment with IRATA guidelines.
• Inspect, evaluate, and report the condition of assets, documenting anomalies and structural defects.
• Verify that inspection devices and testing equipment are calibrated, maintained, and fit for purpose.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, site permit-to-work requirements, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with project leads and client representatives to maintain scheduled inspection progress.
• Keep all certifications, medicals, and competency standards valid throughout the contract assignment.
