Job summary

CAE is seeking an instructor for the Navy Defence team in Randwick, onsite five days a week. You will deliver instructor‑led, blended, and simulator‑based training for Defence personnel, prepare and assess courses, and support trainee development using your trade and technical expertise.

Candidates with Navy experience are highly regarded; railway backgrounds or broader Defence experience are encouraged to apply. A Defence Security Clearance and Australian Citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in electrical/electronics or related technical discipline.
• Defence, military, or technical training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led, blended, and simulator-based training programs for Defence personnel.
• Prepare, facilitate, assess, and complete post-course administration activities.
• Support trainee development by monitoring progress and providing feedback.
• Use technical expertise to maintain and improve training materials and course content.
• Work closely with Defence customers to ensure high-quality training outcomes.
