Job summary

Droylsden Academy in Manchester is seeking an exceptional Navigation Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our internal seclusion provision and to ensure student supervision, consistent behaviour management, and fair application of academy policies.

The successful candidate will combine warmth with high expectations, building strong relationships that enable students to make better choices and succeed, while supporting restorative practices to reflect on behaviour and prevent repeating

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to manage student behaviour with consistency and compassion.
• Ability to build positive relationships to support student progress.
• Experience or understanding of restorative approaches to behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the internal seclusion provision to ensure safety and fairness.
• Supervise students appropriately and apply academy policies consistently.
• Contribute to restorative processes, helping students reflect on behaviours and choices.

The successful candidate will ensure that students are supervisedappropriately, behaviour is managed consistently, and academy policies andprocedures are applied fairly and effectively.

You will be confident andregimented in your approach, while building positive relationships that enablestudents to make better choices and succeed.
