  5. Serve as a technical focal point with a holistic understanding of entire system solutions, leading analysis activities and system design decisions, and providing guidance to your team.
  6. Collaborate with specialists across electronics, electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines to direct and realize overarching system design solutions.
  7. Oversee system integration, test planning, and execution.
  8. Define and communicate system acceptance strategies and evidence demonstrating system performance across various operational scenarios to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Build your profile with senior stakeholders and expand your engineering knowledge base through these activities.

Your skills and experience:

Essential:

  • A good understanding of areas such as signal processing, target track extraction, object classification algorithms, and system and sensor resource optimisation.
  • Knowledge of factors affecting real-world sensing system performance and their impact on measurement accuracy and timeliness to meet challenging design objectives.
  • Understanding and experience of Systems Engineering, including standards like ISO 15288.
  • Experience in presenting technical and non-technical information formally.

Benefits:

Alongside a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems offers employee share plans, extensive flexible benefits including health, wellbeing, lifestyle discounts, a green car scheme, private health plans, shopping discounts, and potential annual incentives.
