Job summary
Digi2al Limited is seeking a Solution Architect to design secure, scalable, user-centred digital solutions for the Royal Navy. You will work embedded in a multidisciplinary agile team, guiding architecture through discovery, alpha, beta and live phases, and documenting decisions to keep development coherent with user needs and constraints.

Qualifications
- Experience applying GDS practices as an architect across discovery, alpha, beta and live
- Experience leading agile architectural work within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills to explain complex architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Produce just-enough architecture at each phase of the GDS lifecycle and evolve designs iteratively
- Interpret roadmaps to develop solution strategies aligning with long-term digital goals
- Collaborate with researchers, delivery managers, developers and product owners in sprint planning and reviews
- Keep architecture documentation current in Navy Digital Confluence, SharePoint and GitHub
- Document architectural decisions transparently for traceability and governance
