Job summary

Broadreach Limited in West Wales is seeking an experienced Naval Architect to lead marine design from concept through production. You will work on vessel designs, technical drawings, 3D CAD models, and structural analysis, coordinating with engineering and production teams to ensure feasible, compliant solutions.

The role offers exposure to real-world vessel projects, ownership of design changes, and a hands-on environment where engineering decisions translate into build-ready vessels.

Qualifications

• A degree or relevant qualification in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
• Experience designing marine vessels and producing technical drawings.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and structural design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing marine vessels and systems.
• Producing detailed technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Creating and developing 3D CAD models.
• Supporting structural design and engineering activities.
• Reviewing designs for practicality, performance and manufacturability.
• Working closely with production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Managing design changes and modifications.
• Providing technical engineering support throughout vessel builds.
• Working collaboratively with project and engineering teams.
• Supporting projects from initial design through to completion.
