Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a Local Nature Recovery Assistant to support the development and delivery of ambitious local nature recovery projects across Gloucestershire. You will assist in facilitating and administering the GLNRS, meet council duties, and help develop project pipelines, engage communities and monitor data from local organisations for reporting to central government.

Hybrid working arrangements are available and a range of family-friendly, development and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Ideally an environmental degree or experience in an environmental organisation or setting
• Fluent English is required to fulfil customer-facing duties and team communication

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of the Gloucestershire Local Nature Recovery Strategy (GLNRS) and related projects
• Assist with development of work processes, project pipelines and trackers
• Contribute to data gathering, monitoring and reporting to central government and stakeholders
