Job summary

National Trust is seeking an Assistant Land Use & Nature Delivery Partner to drive transformational change for nature across the North of England. You will join the Restore Nature Specialist Delivery team in the Northwest to support landscape-scale nature recovery and habitat creation on NT land.

You will work with farmers, land managers and partners to deliver practical solutions for nature-friendly farming, low-carbon land management and habitat restoration, with hybrid working and site visits

Qualifications

• Experience delivering nature recovery projects across a range of habitats and landscapes.
• Knowledge of ecology and nature-friendly farming systems.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and build trust.
• Experience engaging with a diverse audience from farmers and partners to colleagues across different disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice to help restore nature at scale alongside Land Use & Nature Delivery Partners.
• Collaborate with operational teams, farmers and external partners to develop practical solutions for nature-friendly farming and habitat restoration.
• Support landscape-scale nature recovery project planning and delivery.
• Help establish and coordinate national monitoring programmes.
• Support habitat baselining, opportunity mapping and carbon auditing.
• Use evidence and data to inform decision-making and demonstrate impact.
