Job summary

The Green Estate CIC is recruiting an accomplished Operations Director to lead a senior, multi-disciplinary team in Sheffield. You will drive performance across operations, commercial results and stakeholder relationships in a purpose-led environment.

You will develop resilient systems, scale production capacity, and nurture a high-performance culture while delivering environmental and social impact through nature-based solutions. Travel to clients and partners is expected.

What matters most is your ability to lead people, operations and commercial performance in a complex, purpose-led environment. At The Green Estate CIC we have one of the most impactful and innovative Nature Based Solutions (NBS) team in social enterprise. Using the turf and seed mixes of the Pictorial Meadows brand, developed in partnership with the late Nigel Dunnett, and our own specialist Grey to Green soils and substrate, our projects have ranged from installing high impact meadow fields that increase biodiversity and pollinator habitats, supporting the creation of Sustainable Urban Drainage and regenerating urban landscapes.

Salary: £49,128.00 - £52,332.00

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, predominantly 8.00am to 4.00pm Mondays -Fridays at our site on Manor Lane, but there will be occasional travel to clients and partners including Europe.
