Job summary

Taranis, based in London, is seeking an Analyst for Nature-Based Solutions to support origination, assessment, development, and management of NBS projects. The role involves collaboration with Investment and Technical Managers, and interaction with developers, consultants, and internal teams across finance, legal and E&S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience through internships, graduate programs, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated interest in climate finance, carbon markets, and natural capital.
• English fluent; French a strong plus; other languages welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate NBS opportunities to grow the project portfolio.
• Conduct policy and regulatory assessments related to carbon markets.
• Coordinate due diligence covering technical, financial, legal, environmental, and social aspects.
• Develop and maintain project business plans and financial models, including carbon revenues.
• Prepare presentations and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support annual budget and mid-term outlook exercises.
