Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of refurbishment and new-build projects across healthcare, commercial and education sectors. The role is Midlands based with willingness to travel nationwide and lodge away from home.

You will oversee site operations, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress and maintain high health and safety standards, delivering projects on programme and to budget.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 6 or HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent.
• SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS qualification appropriate to the role.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Site Manager within a main contracting environment.
• Experience delivering refurbishment and new-build projects.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and lodge away from home.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (to be obtained by the company during onboarding).

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites from mobilisation through to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site operatives and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Plan and coordinate site activities, ensuring effective sequencing of works.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and senior management.
• Manage site documentation, including daily records, progress reports and quality inspections.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve site-based challenges and construction issues.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics.
• Support the successful handover and completion of projects.
