Job summary

YellowStone Environmental Solutions is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our nationwide team from Shaftesbury. You will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers to collect and deliver waste across the UK, with 48 hours plus overtime and a competitive salary.

We value safety, reliability and customer service, and you’ll plan routes, stay compliant with driving hours, complete vehicle checks, and support loaders as needed in a dynamic national operation.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months’ experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence is desired but not essential.
• Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Confidence working in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding role.
• A commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers.
• Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary.
• Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours.
• Providing excellent customer service on every job.
