Job summary

Elvet Recruitment seeks an experienced Project Manager for a market-leading specialist structural/concrete repairs contractor with projects across the Midlands and nationwide. The role offers regular UK-wide travel, a clear path to Contracts Manager, and a strong emphasis on staff development within a Tier 1 backing.

Key duties include cradle-to-grave project oversight, NEC contract control, and effective BIM-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

Experience in management of civil engineering & structural projects, ideally within rail or highways settings.
Experience managing bridge-related schemes: bearings, deckings, movement joints, expansion joints.
Experience overseeing infrastructure project delivery for main contractor with scheme values of £1m+.
Knowledge of NEC contract suite.

Responsibilities

Manage site teams and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.
Oversee projects cradle to grave including tender, planning & programming.
Writing documentation for sites.
Early Warnings & Compensation Events.
Work with client to achieve deadlines & build lasting relationships.
Managing all contract changes - familiarity with NEC3 / NEC 4.
Commercial cost tracking and control with the Commercial team.
Implement BIM to achieve effective delivery and drive safety, particularly with 3D design and visualization.
