Job Description:

Copart is currently recruiting a National Transport Planner to work as part of our team, based at our office in Bedford.

The National Transport Planner is responsible for managing the efficient and effective day-to-day routing of all Copart’s collections, deliveries, and returns for the entire national fleet of Transporters and the network of subcontractors.

You will review and improve fleet productivity while ensuring customer SLA’s are met or exceeded, maintaining high standards of customer service for both external and internal clients.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Cost-effective daily route scheduling using PTV Route Optimiser.
• Create reports to analyze and improve collection and delivery performance.
• Maintain routing software settings for optimal performance.
• Meet or exceed internal KPI targets.
• Engage with subcontractors and yards to ensure performance levels.
• Provide monthly reports on fleet productivity, driver & sub haul usage, and costs.

Essential Attributes

• Experience with route planning software.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
