Job summary

Intelix.AI is seeking a Software/ Infrastructure Platform Engineer for UK national-security deployments in London. The role is hybrid and requires UK SC clearance (held or eligible).

You will build and run high-performance data platforms, own end-to-end production reliability, and lead migrations to newer infrastructure, including air-gapped estates via an in-house delivery engine. A strong software-engineering core and cloud/SRE background are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years in infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering with a software-engineering core.
• Built Microservices.
• Build production systems, not just operate them.
• UK SC clearance held or eligible (UK nationality or long-term residency). No visa sponsorship.
• Background in defence tech or big-tech/major-cloud SRE.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate high-performance, scalable services powering large-scale data platforms for UK government national-security deployments.
• Own production reliability end-to-end: monitoring, alerting, configuration management, upgrades.
• Deploy new products into production and lead migrations onto newer infrastructure, including air-gapped estates via an in-house continuous-delivery engine.
• Eliminate operational toil with automation using data platforms and LLM/AI tooling to build novel systems.
• On-call rotation roughly every 5–6 weeks, run from a secure facility.
