Job description

GB News is seeking to recruit a National Reporter to join our team. As a national news broadcaster, we are committed to delivering engaging content to our audience. You need to be able to work independently with support from the news desk in London.

In this role, you will be responsible for researching, planning, investigating, and delivering original stories that will appeal to our audience across all platforms.

You will be required to go live on-air on a variety of stories from breaking news to planned segments. You will also be required to write and voice TV packages.

You'll have a strong knowledge of current affairs at home and abroad, and a willingness to always be fully informed.

You'll be able to travel to cover stories at home and abroad - often at short notice, and you may be asked to work long or anti-social hours and at weekends.

The ability to self-shoot, edit, and experience of presenting programmes or news bulletins would enhance any application.

The ideal candidate will have a background in news journalism, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

The location of this role is flexible and can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom.
