A national supplier of technologically advanced plant hire machinery, supporting the construction, rail, major project, and energy industries, is seeking an experienced National Recruitment Manager to lead its growing resourcing function.

The National Recruitment Manager will lead and coordinate a team of Regional Resourcing Coordinators to deliver a consistent, high-quality recruitment service across the UK.

This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for ensuring the effective sourcing, selection, and deployment of skilled operators and personnel while driving process improvement, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Job Overview

• Lead, develop, and motivate Regional Resourcing Coordinators to attract and retain skilled operators.
• Create and implement recruitment strategies that ensure a reliable pipeline of compliant, high-performing candidates.
• Support workforce planning to meet future project and business growth demands.
• Build and maintain relationships with training providers, agencies, and other external partners.
• Oversee resourcing operations to ensure service excellence, consistency, and compliance across all regions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive national growth initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Manage divisional budgets, track performance metrics, and report on recruitment outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Proven recruitment or resourcing experience within the plant hire, heavy equipment, or construction sectors.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent understanding of industry compliance, health & safety, and employment regulations.
• Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
