Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a People Partner to shape culture, develop talent, and help leaders build high‑performing teams across the UK.

You will partner with the People Director and senior stakeholders to implement people strategies, policies, and processes, ensuring compliance and aligning with business goals.

This role also supports wider projects on workforce planning, change programmes, and employee experience.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
• Proven HR Business Partner/People Partner experience in a complex, geographically dispersed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to drive people performance, engagement, and development.
• Support workforce planning, organisational change, and business transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
