Job summary

GXO is seeking a Senior General Manager to lead the B&Q Supply Chain Fulfilment Network across the UK, accountable for 11 sites, up to 500 colleagues and a £50m+ operation. The role focuses on strategic leadership, safety, service, people, and financial performance with frequent UK travel.

This is a full-time, permanent position with Monday to Friday work and a strong emphasis on delivering operational excellence and business growth.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within large-scale logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transport operations.
• Proven ownership of substantial operational budgets and P&L responsibility within a multi-site environment.
• Strong commercial acumen balancing customer expectations, operational performance, and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across a national warehouse and transport network, ensuring operational, customer, and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Take full ownership of the network P&L, driving financial performance, cost optimisation, and sustainable growth.
• Lead and develop a team of senior operational leaders, creating a high-performing culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Drive service excellence by ensuring customer SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved across all locations.
• Champion the highest standards of health, safety, compliance, and operational governance throughout the network.
