Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is recruiting a Project Manager to deliver a National Grid substation project. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover, ensuring safety, schedule and budget are met.

The role requires NEC3/NEC4 contract management experience, a relevant engineering or construction management degree, and credentials such as SMSTS and CSCS/EUSR.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Significant Project Manager or senior leadership experience on major infrastructure, utilities or energy projects.
• Excellent NEC3/NEC4 contract management knowledge.
• SMSTS and CSCS/EUSR management card.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through the project lifecycle: planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Deliver safety, programme delivery and commercial performance.
• Manage interfaces with electrical EPC or principal contractor teams and stakeholders.
