Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks a Project Manager to deliver a National Grid substation project. You will lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, programme delivery and strong commercial performance.

You will bring an engineering or construction management degree and extensive PM experience on major infrastructure or energy projects, with NEC3/NEC4 knowledge and relevant cards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Significant Project Manager or senior leadership experience on major infrastructure, utilities or energy projects.
• Strong experience managing safety, programme delivery, commercial performance and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent NEC3/NEC4 contract management knowledge.
• SMSTS and an appropriate CSCS/EUSR management card.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence clients, partners and senior project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project lifecycle stages.
• Deliver a National Grid substation project on time, safely and within budget.
• Manage relationships with National Grid and key stakeholders to ensure project success.
