Job summary

Hydro International is seeking a National Distribution & Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations across multiple UK locations from Clevedon, Somerset, with national travel.

You will develop and implement warehouse strategies focused on safety, service, inventory accuracy, and cost performance; monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement, optimise layouts, coach managers, and manage budgets while collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, Finance and

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, logistics or supply chain management.
• Proven leadership and people-management track record.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory and distribution.
• Analytical, data-driven with cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally and hold a UK driving licence.
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations across multiple sites, aligned with objectives and standards.
• Drive strategies focused on safety, service, inventory and cost performance.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse data, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with site leaders to implement standardised ways of working.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, stock availability and system efficiency.
• Optimise layouts, labour utilisation and material flow.
• Coach and develop warehouse supervisors across locations.
• Manage budgets and monitor expenditure against targets.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, Finance and HR.
• Ensure Health & Safety, environmental and regulatory compliance; promote safety culture.
• Support network optimisation projects and system implementations.
