Job summary

NWSSP Legal & Risk Services is seeking an experienced Director to lead the NHS Wales Employers remit, providing leadership, advice and representation on workforce policy and strategy across NHS Wales. You will work with NHS Wales Directors of Workforce and OD, Welsh Government and the Welsh NHS Confederation to influence policy and support engagement.

• Essential criteria include MCIPD/ FCIPD or equivalent
• Masters qualification in HR management or related field
• Evidence of continuing professional and managerial development

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and representation on workforce and employee relations matters for NHS Wales Employers
• Coordinate horizon scanning and impact assessment of policy developments
• Represent employing organisations in UK discussions on pay, pensions and terms & conditions
• Lead development and review of workplace policies in partnership with employers, trade unions and Welsh Government
