Job summary

Walk Wheel Cycle Trust is recruiting a Project Manager for the National Cycle Network in England. You will lead planning, delivery and evaluation of active travel projects, collaborating with local authorities, communities and partners and travelling as required.

The role demands organisational strength, clear communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities while building strong stakeholder relationships. Hybrid base with hub options and some travel.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject with suitable work experience (as described: at least 2 years, or 5 years in transport/active travel).
• Strong understanding of active travel infrastructure, standards and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of NCN infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
• Support development of the project pipeline from concept to delivery.
• Communicate project updates and insights through reports and presentations.
