Job summary

Navartis Ltd in Manchester seeks an experienced Contracts Director to lead a national portfolio of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, delivering value up to £6m each. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership across projects from Manchester with hybrid flexibility.

You will drive safety, quality, client relationships and operational performance, aligning budgets with profitability while guiding Contracts Managers and delivery teams to success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior operational or contracts leadership role within commercial fit-out and refurbishment.
• Strong track record overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Experience delivering projects up to £6m in value.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the successful delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects across a national portfolio.
• Providing leadership, direction and support to Contracts Managers and project delivery teams.
• Maintaining control of project programmes, budgets, profitability and commercial performance.
• Building and developing strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with quality, health and safety and contractual requirements.
• Monitoring project performance, identifying risks and implementing solutions to maintain delivery standards.
• Supporting the continued development of operational processes and delivery standards across the business.
• Ensuring resources are effectively allocated across projects to achieve programme and commercial objectives.
