Job summary

CMAC at the University of Strathclyde is seeking a Nanomedicines Scientist to plan, manage and execute nanomedicine formulation, manufacture and characterisation activities, including lipid nanoparticles, liposomes and other delivery systems.

You will lead short- to medium-duration projects for external and internal clients, interpret results, and communicate outcomes while supporting senior colleagues in multidisciplinary programmes.

Qualifications

• Nanomedicine formulation and characterisation experience; ability to plan and execute experimental work.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with industry and academia.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute nanomedicine formulation, manufacture and characterisation activities (lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, polymeric nanoparticles).
• Lead short- to medium-duration projects for external and internal clients; interpret results and communicate outcomes.
• Support senior colleagues in delivering larger multidisciplinary programmes; maintain accurate experimental records and uphold health, safety and quality standards.
