Greycoat Lumley’s client are alovely family based in Edinburgh’s New Town, they are seeking an experienced, warm and proactive Nanny to provide sole-charge care for 1 child under 1 year old. The family is looking for a Nanny to take responsibility for the child’s daily routine, plan engaging activities and provide a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment.

The property is ideally located close to tram stops and bus routes, and a car is available for the Nanny’s use.

Duties include:

• Sole responsibility for the child during working hours, ensuring their safety, happiness and wellbeing at all times.

• Usual nursery duties, including organising age-appropriate activities, planning outings.

• Supporting the child’s learning and development.

• Preparing meals and snacks

• Managing daily routines.

• Responsible for keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas and belongings tidy and organised.

• Managing the child’s laundry and ensuring toys and equipment are put away after use.

• The successful candidate will be confident taking the initiative, planning a varied and engaging schedule.

• Have open communication with the parents.

Previous professional nanny experience, excellent references and the ability to work independently are essential.

Paediatric first aid training is desirable.

Salary: £20 gross per hour
