Outwood Academy Acklam in Middlesbrough is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Music to join us on maternity cover from 05/01/2027. The role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, with a salary of £32,916 - £45,352.

You will deliver high-quality learning across music to raise attainment, using diverse teaching strategies and assessment approaches in our vibrant Performing Arts Department. The post is initially until August 2027, with the possibility of extension to December 2027,

About the Department

The Performing Arts Department consists of a small team of dedicated colleagues with access to amazing facilities; large theatre, music practice rooms and brand new, dedicated drama rooms. The department is also supported by One-to-One Music Tutors.
