Outwood Academy Acklam is seeking a Music teacher for maternity cover starting 05/01/2027. The post offers a salary of £32,916–£45,352 and a 32.5-hour, term-time pattern (Monday–Friday). The role is initially maternity cover until August 2027 with a possible extension to December 2027.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging music lessons, contribute to a vibrant Performing Arts department, and help raise student achievement within a GOOD-rated academy in Middlesbrough.

About the Department

The Performing Arts Department consists of a small team of dedicated colleagues with access to amazing facilities; large theatre, music practice rooms and brand new, dedicated drama rooms. The department is also supported by One-to-One Music Tutors.
