A dynamic secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join its thriving Music department. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the chance to inspire students and contribute to a vibrant school community with a strong tradition in the performing arts. The successful Music Teacher will have excellent opportunities.

You Are:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
  • Experienced in teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. (KS5 experience is desirable, but not required).
  • Proficient in at least one musical instrument and/or voice.
  • An inspiring educator with a love of music.
  • Committed to student success.
  • Dedicated to professional growth.

You Will:The Music Teacher will undertake:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons.
  • Differentiate instruction for all learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback (written and practical).

  • Collaborate with colleagues.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular music (choirs, bands, orchestras, etc.).
  • Organize and prepare students for performances.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians.
  • Comply with safeguarding.
