Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is assisting a Bradford secondary school in finding a talented Music Teacher for an immediate start. The role covers practical and theoretical Music across KS3-4, with potential KS5 delivery, in a well-equipped Expressive Arts environment.

You will lead ensembles, keyboard skills, composition, and digital audio production while supporting pastoral duties as a Form Tutor and contributing to school performances.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK-recognised equivalent.
• Honours degree in Music or closely related discipline.
• Strong practical musical skills and experience with music software.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Teach Music to KS3/KS4 with potential KS5 delivery.
• Direct and support extra-curricular ensembles and performances.
• Assess pupil progress across performance and coursework.
• Maintain and supervise practice suites and equipment.
• Support pastoral duties as a Form Tutor.
