Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a qualified Music Teacher to start in September for a long-term cover position in Kent. The role involves delivering KS3 and KS4 music lessons, planning engaging sessions, and monitoring student progress. A strong background in music education and DBS is expected.

The position offers daily rate opportunities (£180–£220) depending on experience, with a September start and a long-term commitment to the school’s music department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Music at secondary school level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Music education.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain.
