Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Music at secondary school level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Music education.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring and well-structured Music lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan engaging lessons that foster students' musical skills and creativity.
• Support and monitor students' musical development and progress.
• Contribute actively to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour, achievement and inclusivity.
