This role focuses on delivering high-quality lessons, planning and marking, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to department meetings and extracurricular enrichment to extend learning beyond the classroom.

Qualifications

• PGCE with a relevant bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
• Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate.
• Excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum.
• Maintain exceptional classroom practice and be able to teach across the full age range.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and mark lessons.
• Provide constructive and guided feedback to students.
• Conduct summative and formative assessments to track progress.
• Attend departmental meetings and communicate effectively with parents.
• Share best practice within and beyond the department.
• Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom.

• Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback
• Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.
• Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department
• Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Successful candidates should hold a PGCE with a relevant bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.
• Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate
• Possess an excellent subject knowledge
• Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum
• Maintain exceptional classroom practice
• Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues

*Payment scale advertised is based upon the teacher pay scale from M1 to M6. Actual pay is based upon relevant teaching experience
