#WeAreParamount on a mission to unleash the power of content… you in? We’ve got the brands, we’ve got the stars, we’ve got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet – now all we’re missing is… YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co‑create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

Is this role for you?

The MMS Reporting & Strategy team sits within the Music & Media Services (‘MMS’) department at Paramount and is organised across Reporting, Analytics, and Systems & Technical Reporting.

We’re looking for a technically minded Systems & Reporting Analyst to lead day‑to‑day Systems & Technical Reporting within priorities set by the Director, MMS Reporting & Strategy. As the link between the team and technical colleagues, you’ll provide technical expertise, validated data and system support across two areas.

Technical Reporting: You’ll handle queries from collective management organisations (CMOs) and clients about usage reporting issues and changes, resolving them directly or alongside technical teams. Getting hands‑on with departmental reporting workflows, data and metadata, you’ll ensure accuracy and help develop and improve reports in line with contractual requirements and industry standards. You’ll also maintain clear documentation of reporting logic and report changes.

Systems: You’ll represent international business needs, partnering closely with US Music colleagues, who represent domestic needs, to develop shared global solutions. You’ll gather requirements, complete testing and validation, and work with the Director to support new music system initiatives and developments.

You’ll partner closely with the wider team across both areas. Adaptability, curiosity and a proactive approach are key as the role evolves with business needs. We’re looking for someone who’s technically savvy and enjoys finding creative, practical solutions to problems.

What you will be doing?

Resolve technical reporting queries from CMOs and clients, investigating reporting discrepancies and data quality issues, and fixing them directly where appropriate or coordinating resolution with technical teams.

Work hands‑on with departmental reporting workflows and data, keeping data accurate and making sure reports meet agreed CMO and client requirements.

Track reporting queries, changes and agreed actions through to completion, working proactively with technical teams to identify blockers, coordinate resolution and keep stakeholders informed.

Maintain workflows that prepare and transform data ready for onward reporting and analytics, validating outputs for accuracy.

Act as a key international business contact for Paramount’s internal cue‑sheet system, partnering closely with US Music colleagues to develop shared global solutions that address international and domestic needs.

Gather and document system and reporting requirements, clarify business needs and work with technical teams to progress agreed improvements, making sure reporting meets contractual requirements and evolving industry standards.

Maintain clear technical reporting documentation, including reporting logic, testing outcomes and known issues, partnering with Analytics colleagues who deliver user‑facing training materials where needed.

Support the wider development, enhancement and rollout of music systems, working closely with the Director.

Conduct user acceptance testing, validate system changes against agreed requirements and gather stakeholder feedback.

Communicate system and reporting changes clearly to the wider department, CMOs and other affected stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with close attention to detail and a resourceful approach to unfamiliar problems: research the issue, test possible solutions and seek input when needed.

Strong data skills, including preparing, validating and reconciling large datasets and identifying missing, duplicate or inconsistent records.

Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and working with technical teams to deliver reporting or system changes.

Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validating changes against agreed requirements.

The ability to understand and explain reporting logic, data flows, metadata and system interactions.

Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with experience managing competing requests and meeting deadlines.

A proactive approach: you spot issues and opportunities, suggest practical improvements and take ownership of agreed actions through to completion.

Curiosity about how systems and processes work, a creative approach to problem‑solving, enthusiasm for new technology, and a drive to improve data quality and reporting reliability.

Confident using SQL to query, join and aggregate data, and Excel to reconcile and validate outputs using formulas and pivot tables.

Experience in a systems, reporting, data or similarly technical analyst role.

Experience with Alteryx or comparable data workflow tools. Training can be provided.

Knowledge of CMOs, cue sheets and music rights.

Experience within music, media, broadcasting, entertainment or rights management.

Experience with automation tools, AI agents or AI‑assisted workflows, including checking the accuracy of their outputs.
